There are no passengers…..
In the book ‘Animal Farm‘ by George Orwell, there is the famous – or infamous – line:
“all pigs are equal but some are more equal than others.”
We are all interconnected in life but are we all truly equal?
Yes!

Sometimes not….
In one organisation they decided that they had to make some staff cuts to improve the viability of the business. The first person they decided to get rid of was the clerk who handled the travel arrangements. The thinking was that if someone needed to travel it only took a minute or so of their time for them to do it themselves. All seemed to be going well until one day the managing director wanted to travel to a meeting abroad. At the hour stated in his diary, he waited in his office for the call to say his car had arrived to take him to the airport. The call never came. Fearing he would miss his flight, he drove himself to the airport. He presented himself at check in to be told he wasn’t booked onto the flight. As a result of this, he didn’t make the meeting and a lucrative contract was lost.
For want
of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
It says in 1 Corinthians 12 v12 that:
“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.”
There are no passengers in this world – we all have an active and valuable role to play.
