In church, why do we pray for some occupations and not for others?
I was a laboratory technician before ordination and was shocked after I’d prayed for hospital laboratory technicians during the intercessions one week, someone came up to me and said that it was the first time that she’d ever heard her profession had been prayed for in church!
Is there something you can do to broaden your own prayers as well as those of your church?
